I learned all the ins and outs of running a man camp since working for Aries. I kept up with the bed counts on a daily basis for Aries accounting department and also for the companies that stayed in our man camps. I was in charge of finding vendors in the areas where the camps were in South and West Texas and also throughout North Dakota. My job dealt with helping the Camp Managers keep the camps running by finding people that could go out and repair anything that the Aries technician could not repair. A lot of their purchasing was done by me in the Nacogdoches office. My 2 co-workers left in September and all of their work came to my desk after that. Which I truly loved having so much more to do. I considered it a challenge and a learning experience. This was the 2nd best job I have ever had.

Was told about the camp. I had never been to a man camp before so I didn’t know what to expect. When I got there and met the camp manager I was very at ease. She was extremely nice and showed me where I would be staying and I fell in love with the place. I just wish I had found it sooner. I stayed there to the end of my job.
